GHATE — The Veil of Darkness
FAITH FOUND IT. SCIENCE OPENED IT.
Some doors were never meant to open.
Below the surface.
Beyond belief.
A classified facility. An ancient ruin beneath the high desert. A soldier with a broken faith. Discover what Baether tried to control.

002 / ENTITIES OF THE VEIL
AVENOI
You are not alone
in the darkness.
Beyond the threshold, the unknown has a face. Enter the archive and discover the entities of the Veil.
The first look beneath the base.
Beneath St. Icharus,
the darkness has a door.
For decades Baether dismissed the missing, the taken, the visions, and the voices as folklore. Then they dug too deep — and found a threshold the ancient texts had warned them never to open.
LAZARUS LIVES
Featuring the score Baether's Might. Col. Harker briefs Morian Verrick on the progress made with the Lazarus Project. DC believed it was dead. Apparently it was not.
SCORE · BAETHER'S MIGHT · D. EDWARDS
"The ruins beneath the high desert were not built to be discovered. They were built to keep something out."
THE VEIL WAS
NEVER CLOSED.
Beneath the high desert plateaus, hidden far below the city of St. Icharus, Baether operates one of the most restricted facilities on Earth. Officially, the site manages water treatment, geological research, and advanced energy systems. Unofficially, it guards an ancient ruin system connected to a realm known only as The Veil of Darkness.
When Baether scientists discovered that ancient writings from The Faith aligned with modern abduction events, their research changed forever. What had once been studied as extraterrestrial activity became something far more disturbing. The missing. The taken. The visions. The voices. The beings in the dark.
They were not random events.
They were contact.
The Veil of Darkness is a place where horror takes form — where entities feed on fear, memory, and spiritual weakness. Baether built containment systems, classified laboratories, weapons programs, and military protocols to study it. But every discovery came with a cost.
Now, after a breach deep within the facility, soldier Dalton is pulled into a mission that becomes more than survival. He must uncover what Baether has hidden, what The Faith once warned about, and why the Veil seems to know him personally.
Faith & Science
Baether believed science could explain everything. Their greatest discoveries came from ancient warnings they once dismissed.
Grief & Calling
Dalton is not chasing glory. He is trying to escape pain — and the events beneath the base feel as if they were waiting for him.
The Veil of Darkness
Not simply evil space or an alien dimension — a place where spiritual corruption, ancient intelligence, and cosmic horror overlap.
Control vs. Ancient Power
Baether built weapons, locks, and command structures around the Veil. The deeper they went, the clearer it became: they were never in control.
DALTON
Soldier. Believer. Survivor.
Dalton is a highly trained soldier transferred to Baether's classified high desert facility after a successful military career. To his superiors, he is disciplined, capable, and uniquely suited for dangerous assignments. To Dalton, the transfer is an escape.
He grew up in The Faith and once served a mission within it. His belief shaped his early life — but after losing his family in a devastating accident, his faith was shaken. Military service gave him structure. Combat gave him purpose. Grief never left him.
Inside the base, Dalton discovers abandoned labs, hidden weapons programs, ancient ruins, and evidence that The Faith may have known about the Veil long before modern science found it. As the facility collapses into chaos, he is forced to confront the possibility that his suffering, his transfer, and his survival were never coincidences.
He is not a chosen hero in the clean, legendary sense. He is broken, skeptical, trained, and afraid — exactly the kind of person the darkness cannot easily manipulate.
His Role in the Game
Dalton's descent runs through sealed labs, reactor systems, water-treatment corridors, restricted temples, and ancient ruins buried beneath the base. His training helps him fight — but survival requires more than tactics. The deeper he goes, the more the Veil attacks memory, identity, and belief.
The question is not just whether Dalton can survive. The question is whether he can face the darkness without becoming part of it.
THE VEIL
Two faces. Two doors.
Baether scientists reached the threshold by projecting laser arrays onto the ruin walls beneath St. Icharus. What they opened was not a planet, not a simulation, and not a dream — it was a realm with two faces. The Faith had named them long before science arrived: the Veil of Darkness, and the Veil of Light.
The realm has two faces, and Baether found two ways in. One was torn open in the ruins. The other was built to reach somewhere far higher.
The Veil of Darkness
A hostile realm where physical law, memory, faith, and fear break down. Its entities feed on fear and spiritual weakness — and they understand humanity far better than humanity understands them.
The Veil of Light
The threshold's sacred face. From its temples come the consecrated processes behind the facility's special ammunition. The Faith calls it holy ground — but light beyond the Veil is not the same as safety. What dwells there judges as much as it protects.
Some return with knowledge.
Some return wrong.
Some do not return at all.
THE QUADRA
NOT OF THIS WORLD · NOT BOUND BY THIS REALM
It stands taller than a man and moves like something remembering how. The body is biomechanical — carved plating over cabled sinew, hands ending in blades long enough to reach across a corridor. The head is a sealed cube inscribed on every face, and it rotates: each face a different state, a different function, a different personality wearing the same body.
Baether's recovered fragments place the Quadra in the deep temple strata beneath the facility, in chambers that predate every survey on record. It does not appear to hunt for food. It appears to be assigned — a keeper left behind when whatever built those halls stopped coming back. Arc rounds glance off the plating. Thermal barely registers. Only Veil-light ordnance has ever moved it.
Survivors describe the same sequence in the same order: the cube turning, the eyes finding them, and then nothing for a long while — because the Quadra does not rush. It watches. It hunts. It remains.
ST. ICHARUS
St. Icharus is a remote high desert city built near the plateaus above Baether's hidden facility. To the public, the city depends on Baether for infrastructure, water treatment, and economic stability. Most residents have no idea that beneath them lies a classified ruin system older than recorded history.
The water-treatment systems that support the city are tied into Baether's nuclear infrastructure deep underground. The ruins beneath the base are becoming unstable. Something from the Veil is reaching through.
As the Veil bleeds into the facility, St. Icharus becomes more than a nearby city.
It becomes a target.
Water Treatment
The city's lifeline — routed directly through the facility's deepest levels.
Nuclear Core
Powers the laser arrays that hold the threshold open. Now failing.
Ruin Walls
Ancient stone unlike anything on Earth — the seam where the Veil reaches through.
THE FACILITY
Site 7A · Baether Restricted · Depth —1,940m
On every public record, Site 7A is a water-treatment and advanced-energy installation buried in the high desert plateau. The cover is real — the plant genuinely supplies St. Icharus. But the treatment lines and the reactor were never the point. They are the power and the disguise for what Baether built around the ruin beneath them.
The facility descends in sealed tiers, each one further from daylight and closer to the threshold. Clearance drops away level by level. By the lowest tiers, the architecture stops being Baether's at all.
The Cover
Pristine white corridors, administration, and water-treatment control. This is the only level outsiders ever see — clean, bright, and entirely ordinary. It exists to be believed.
Classified Labs
Sealed laboratories where Baether and RASMAR Industries study what comes back through the Veil. Specimens are held in stasis columns. Not all of them are dead — and not all of them are contained for our protection.
The Reactor
The nuclear core that powers the laser arrays holding the threshold open. Guarded around the clock. When the reactor falters, the arrays dim — and the door beneath the base begins to drift shut, or worse, swing wide.
Containment
The buffer between the human facility and the ruin. Blast doors, military protocols, and the last hard line of control. After the breach, this is where the Veil stopped being a subject of study and became a presence walking the halls.
The Ruins
Marble columns and ruin walls older than recorded history, built by no hand Baether can name. The Faith warned never to open this place. The threshold to the Veil is here — and the deeper structure suggests it was raised to keep something out.
Baether dug the facility to study the door.
The door has been studying them back.
ARSENAL
Steel is not enough down here.
In a world where science, faith, and ancient mysteries collide, ammunition is more than a weapon — it is humanity's evolving answer to the horrors beyond the Veil of Darkness. As Dalton uncovers the secrets of Baether, The Faith, and the entities that dwell beyond reality, players gain access to increasingly powerful munitions, each one a different understanding of the forces shaping the world.
Six grades of ammunition, from frontier ballistics to sacred temple discoveries. Survival is not determined by the weapon you carry — it is determined by what your ammunition was designed to fight.
Samuel's Choice
The trusted ammunition of the High Desert.
Simple, reliable, and deadly against conventional threats. Carried by civilians, contractors, and frontier defenders — effective against men, but often inadequate against the things emerging from the Veil.
Baether Ballistics
The standard of Baether Security.
Advanced military engineering and proprietary alloys deliver superior penetration, accuracy, and stopping power — the foundation of Baether's growing war against the unknown.
ArcAmmo
Developed from recovered anomaly materials.
Unleashes unstable energy reactions on impact, devastating against enhanced targets. Once thought impossible — the first successful attempt to weaponize discoveries made during Veil research.
Baether UltraViolet
The ammunition that changed everything.
Engineered after classified experiments beneath the High Desert revealed the Veil of Darkness. Built specifically to disrupt entities connected to the boundary — the first truly effective anti-Veil weapon system.
Alien Munitions
Recovered from technologies not of this world.
Defies conventional understanding. Some rounds appear to alter matter itself; others produce effects modern physics cannot explain. Baether has replicated portions of their design — their true origins remain a closely guarded secret.
Reverence Munitions
The rarest and most powerful ammunition known to exist.
Created from knowledge found within ancient temples beyond the Veil, blurring the line between science and faith. Entities that shrug off conventional weapons fear Reverence rounds. When all other options fail, Reverence endures.
Beyond the Veil of Darkness, survival is not determined by the weapon you carry.
It is determined by what your ammunition was designed to fight.
Baether's contractor for everything that has to survive contact with the Veil — containment, detection, and the consecration of the special ammunition.

ABOUT US
Tribaleaux Studios — founded by Dillon Edwards.
Founded on a vision.
Tribaleaux Studios was founded by Dillon Edwards, creator of the Ghate IP. The story, the world, the characters, the weapons, the machines, and the music all originate from his creative direction — three years of hard-surface modeling, texturing, design, and engineering through a unified studio pipeline.
A singular creative vision governs the project. Every corridor, every weapon, every line of lore answers to the same direction, so the world holds together instead of fragmenting across departments — internally consistent as it grows.
Ghate runs on Unreal Engine 5 — Lumen, Nanite, and the rest of the modern feature set — built to hold high frame rates without giving up the visuals.
"I once had a dream, and I've been trying to make it real. I describe it as a transmission — I'm just the messenger."
— Dillon Edwards
Ghate is a wholly original IP — a new universe with its own mythology, factions, weapons, and world. No licensed lore, no borrowed frameworks. Every character, conflict, and corner of St. Icharus was built from the ground up. It now moves into alpha under the Tribaleaux Studios banner, with the studio positioned to grow — building a team to carry Ghate into deeper territory.
Straight from a matured, battle-tested pipeline — creature work in progress. We build our own tools, and they allow us a remarkable workflow: the same instruments we offer in our catalog carry everything that crosses the Veil.
MERCHANDISE
Official Ghate merch. Wear the transmission.
Every piece is drawn from the world itself — Baether insignia, RASMAR stencils, the Veil. The first line is still in production.

Terms of Service
EFFECTIVE DATE: JULY 14, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ghate.io (the "Site") and the digital products offered on it — including software plugins, add-ons, and tools (the "Products") — operated by Tribaleaux Group LLC ("Tribaleaux," "we," "us"). By using the Site or purchasing a Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase Products.
2. Purchases, Pledges & Payment Processing
Orders on the Site are processed through our authorized payment provider, who acts as merchant of record and handles payment, applicable taxes, invoicing, and customer billing inquiries. Your purchase is also subject to that provider's buyer terms, presented to you at checkout. Prices are shown at checkout and may change at any time; changes do not affect completed purchases.
Your purchase is a pledge. Ghate is an independent universe built without a publisher. Every order is both a purchase of a specific digital Product, delivered to you immediately upon payment, and a pledge toward the continued development of the GHATE project — the funds you contribute are applied to development, production, and operating costs, and are earned by us upon delivery of the Product. In return you receive the Product, one year of updates and support (Section 5), and a stake in watching this world get built: development updates, previews, and a voice in what we build next through The Briefing and our community channels. Because pledge funds are put to work in development upon delivery, sales are final once delivery has occurred, except as provided in our Refund Policy, our payment provider's refund policy, and any non-waivable statutory rights in your country.
3. License
Upon purchase, Tribaleaux grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the versions of the Product delivered to you, for your own projects, commercial or non-commercial. Updates and support are provided for one year from purchase (see Section 5). You may not resell the Product as-is, share license keys, or misrepresent our assets as your own; you may not remove proprietary notices. All Products are licensed, not sold.
Open-source components. Portions of some Products — including Blender add-on code — are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) or other open-source licenses. Nothing in these Terms restricts, and in any conflict the open-source license governs, your rights under those licenses to use, study, modify, and redistribute that code. What you purchase from us is the convenience of the packaged distribution, license keys, access to updates and support, and any non-GPL assets (artwork, presets, documentation, and other bundled content), which remain proprietary.
4. Intellectual Property
The Site, the Products, and all related names, characters, logos, artwork, story elements, and universe materials — including GHATE™ — are trademarks and/or copyrighted works of Tribaleaux Group LLC. No rights are granted except the license expressly stated above.
5. Updates & Support
Each purchase includes one (1) year of product updates and general support from the date of purchase. During that year you receive all updates, fixes, and improvements released for the Product, and reasonable-efforts support via support@ghate.io. After the year ends, your license and access to the versions you have purchased remain — your Product keeps working; unless you renew, you will not receive new updated versions or general support. Renewals are optional and available at the then-current renewal price.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Products are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Products will be error-free or compatible with every configuration of third-party software (including specific versions of Blender or Unreal Engine).
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tribaleaux shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or Products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your non-waivable statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license keys, access to downloads, updates, and support end, and you must cease use of any proprietary (non-open-source) components of the affected Product. Termination does not affect any rights you hold under an applicable open-source license.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Tribaleaux Group LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: support@ghate.io.

Refund Policy
EFFECTIVE DATE: JULY 14, 2026
All sales of digital software are final. Our products are digital goods delivered by immediate download; once an order is completed and the product or license key has been delivered, it cannot be "returned." Each purchase is also a pledge toward the continued development of the GHATE project — in consideration of our good-faith efforts to develop and deliver with the funds raised, pledge funds are earned upon delivery and are non-refundable except as set out below, under our payment provider's refund policy, or where non-waivable consumer laws apply. Please review each product's description, requirements, and compatibility notes before purchasing.
1. Exceptions
We will issue a refund where: (a) the product is materially defective or non-functional as described, and we are unable to fix the issue or provide a working replacement within a reasonable time after you contact support; (b) you were charged for a duplicate purchase of the same product; (c) the product was never delivered to you; or (d) a refund is required by applicable consumer law. Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase.
2. EU & UK Buyers
If you are in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital content, by completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal once delivery begins, as permitted under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and equivalent UK law. Your statutory rights regarding defective digital content are not affected.
3. How to Request a Refund
Orders are processed by our authorized payment provider, acting as merchant of record. To request a refund under the exceptions above, either reply to your order receipt email, or contact us at support@ghate.io with your order number and a description of the issue. For technical defects, please include steps to reproduce and your software versions so we can attempt a fix first. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
4. What Is Not Refundable
Refunds are not provided for: change of mind after delivery; purchasing the wrong product where a correct description was available; incompatibility with software versions or hardware outside the stated requirements; discounts or promotions applied after your purchase; or products obtained in violation of our Terms of Service. Upon refund, your license keys are deactivated and your access to downloads, updates, and support for the product ends; you must cease use of any proprietary (non-open-source) components. Rights you hold under an applicable open-source license (such as the GPL for Blender add-on code) are unaffected.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — most issues are resolved within one business day. Chargebacks filed on valid, delivered orders may result in suspension of the associated licenses.
